A form of words has been agreed with The Royal Mail and the MNA for every letter to be postmarked in recognition of the 100th anniversary of Merchant Navy Convoys...they saved the country from certain defeat.
Fantastic recognition and a great big thank you to ROYAL MAIL for their initiative in proposing this exceptional acknowledgement.
Please take particular note of the postmark on millions of letters on 17th October.
Please send as many letters as possible and please remember to send a couple to yourself to keep for long into the future.
All letters posted on 14th, 15th and 16th with a 1st Class stamp will have this original and unique postmark.
