The Merchant Navy Association was “launched” in 1989 and it provided a unique opportunity for seafarers to get together to form a national consensus towards a range of objectives. MNA: 2013: YEAR OF THE CONVOY:On the horizon for 2013 will be the 70th anniversary of the Atlantic Convoys. We have already had open discussions with others to establish a major promotion of those convoys in those times and how seafarers really won the Battle of Britain!
