Sadly seems to be as per the below reply.
I have not received any reply from Patrick Flynn and so did a couple of searches on google and there was an obituary posted for a Dr Patrick Flynn from his daughter, mentioning his wife name of Jane so I suspect Patrick has passed away, and some years ago now. I have had a look for the daughter and possibly a Geraldine A Smith was the daughter's married name but beyond that, difficult to find with any certainty.

Very late to this as was researching some stuff for my father, Patrick Robinson. Patrick was radio officer on the City of York when the Forresbank caught ablaze in 1958, where he was involved in the rescue. I have discovered a number of photos of the ship ablaze, rescuing party and survivors if anybody is interested.
