UNUSUAL SHOUT - our volunteer Barry Dock Lifeboat crew launched this afternoon to a report of a 'weak' satellite distress signal in the Bristol Channel. They headed toward Burnham On Sea (the rough coordinates) but on the second orbit of the satellite the location was accurately established as near the German coast (Barry Dock doesn't cover quite that far!!) There is no such thing as a wasted launch - Far better to be safe than sorry 👍😀
