Royal British Legion - Paris France

The RBL Paris branch is very pleased to have been donated the South Wales (Barry & Penarth) Merchant Navy plaque. For the first time in history, the Merchant Navy was represented at the Ceremony in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on the 11th November 2017, alongside the Royal Navy, Army and RAF. With much thanks to the MN Barry Branch, Wales.

for any events next year D Day 2019.

Hi Keith. Just thinking, next year is the 75th anniversary of D Day, and there will be big events organised. My RBL Paris branch will be present, but I think it is an excellent occasion for the Merchant Navy Associations to be present too... I have been asked to carry the MN Duster at a Memorial Service alongside the Royal Navy Association at an event in Paris in Sept. I would be nice to get some coordination going. CP.
