On this day 80 years ago Boy Reginald Earnshaw, the youngest known British service casualty killed during the Second World War, died aged 14 years and 152 days.
Reginald was killed by enemy fire on the SS North Devon and is buried in Edinburgh (Comely Bank) Cemetery.
