The search is on to find a hero who helped save thousands of lives during the Second World War.
Cyril William Prior was a Royal Navy sailor who protected merchant vessels delivering lifesaving supplies to Russians in desperate need in the early 1940s.
In 2014 Russian President Vladimir Putin announced British men who served on ships that made up the Arctic Convoys should be honoured with the Ushakov medal.
The medals are awarded to sailors and soldiers who have displayed courage and bravery in the defence of the Soviet Union and over the last two years the Russian embassy has been seeking British veterans who are eligible for the accolade.
