Royal Mail is looking for veterans and descendants of the crew that sailed aboard Merchant Navy ships over the past 200 years Families whose ancestors served with the Merchant Navy are invited to share their stories and to celebrate the heritage of Britain’s civilian seafarers.
The search anticipates the launch of a new series of Merchant Navy stamps, available in September Of particular interest are stories from veterans and descendants of the brave seamen who sailed in the Arctic and Atlantic convoys during the Second World War -
