Awaiting new news re: Cecil Foster / SS Trevessa grave: Hopefully, will be able to post pics of the recent addition to the refurbishment in memory of the Master Mariner, ship and crew. the next stage will seek a Blue Plaque or similar in the town. We have achieved the grave becoming a treasure of the County of Glamorgan. Cecil born in Malta to a military family, loved his upbringing in Kemnay, Scotland and sourced Kemnay stone chippings have been included at his resting place. CAPTAIN FOSTER LED HIS CREW OVER 1700 MILES IN 2 LIFEBOATS WHEN THE SS TREVESSA SANK IN THE INDIAN OCEAN IN 1923 A QUIET AND KINDLY MAN, HE WAS UNIVERSALLY LIKED AND RESPECTED. LINK
