So sad that this type news will only increase. Just lived long enough to get the Arctic Star, and not long enough for the Ushakov...

The edals he was awarded for his selfless service as a member of the Merchant Navy’s Russian Convoys were placed on top of the patriotic seafarer’s casket, including the Arctic Star, which he received from the British government only last year.
