Merchant Navy week 2014:
Though I have been behind the scenes working on all and more, have been attempting for this year an MN week. MN day is and will be annual forever. This year seek a one off MN week.

At this time of year the MNA: Dormanstown / Redcar. branch like to class Merchant Navy Day as Merchant Navy week: LINK
My home town hope this year to ensure similar. It is hoped that the red ensign will be flown at both the Council building opposite the MN Monument and at Barry’s Memorial Hall for a week. I know my flag flyer in Aylesbury has plans to do similar.
Will explain more ASAP, just this year looking to remember a bit more. WW1 and 2, Athenia, Dunkirk etc.
