Ushakov Medal presented to the Arctic Convoys Veterans
On 10-13 June Attaché of the Embassy Vadim Retyunskiy presented the Ushakov medals to the Arctic Convoys veterans Mr Stanley Joseph COLQUHOUN, Mr Ernest Harry EDWARDS, Mr John Douglas HUMBLE, Mr Arthur THOMPSON, Mr Roy Ormiston ELWOOD, Mr Thomas JACKSON, Mr Alexander Mitchell RUTTERFORD, Mr Fransis Leonard ROWE, Mr William FOTHERGILL, Mr Evan Richard JOHNSON, Mr Harold ROSKELL and Mr Douglas NORRIS, who were awarded this military honour by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation for their personal courage and bravery displayed in WWII.
