Trace the Arctic Convoy Heroes Over the last couple of years, the Russian Consulate General in Edinburgh has made a significant effort to personally present the Ushakov Medal to each and every Veteran of the Arctic Convoys in Scotland.
However, despite all our efforts, we have been unable to locate 23 veterans. We are publishing a list of names, with their last known area of residence, in the hope that our readers will be able to trace them.
If you know any of the veterans listed below or their next of kin (the Medal is presented to those alive as of the date of the President's Decree and to the next of kin in case the veteran passed away), do not hesitate to write to visa@edconsul.co.uk
