RNLI REPORT.
A major search operation is ongoing off the coast of Mayo, Ireland, after contact was lost at 1 o’clock this morning with an Irish Coast Guard helicopter. Two of our all-weather lifeboats from Achill and Ballyglass are involved with the search along with the Irish Coast Guard, Irish Air Corps, the Irish Navy and local fishing boats. Our thoughts are with our colleagues in the Irish Coast Guard at this time.
