Officer’s wrist watch "VOSTOK" presented to the Scottish veteran of the Arctic Convoys
On May 22 2017 Consul General of Russia in Edinburgh Andrey A. Pritsepov handed over to a WWII Veteran who took part in the Arctic Convoys Mr Albert Lamond with a personalized officer’s wrist watch "VOSTOK" commissioned to celbrate the 70th anniversary of the Victory in World War II.
Albert Lamond shared his impressions of participating in commemorative festival in Pool-Ewe on 5-7May and a long-awaited meeting with the Russian veterans who visited Scotland specially for the joint commemorative ceremony at the Memorial to Arctic Convoys in Loch-Ewe.
