The Merchant Navy Association (Wales) Barry branch are holding a commemoration and wreath laying at the MN Memorial outside the Civic Offices in Holton Rd, Barry,Glamorgan, South Wales on Friday, September 1, at the Civic Centre at 10am. All that may attend would be welcome.

Merchant Navy commemoration service to be held in BarryA ceremony will be held to honour members of the Merchant Navy and remember those of the earlier Mercantile Marine. The ceremony will be hosted by the Vale Council on Friday, September 1, at the Civic Centre at 10am, at the Merchant Navy Monument. The ceremony will remember and commemorate all seafarers, past and present. LINK
