Looking for WWII Merchant Navy Veterans
I am working for a TV company developing a possible programme to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the start of the war. I would like to have the opportunity to speak to veterans who served with the Merchant Navy during WWII. I am interested in veterans’ stories of their experiences of the war, particularly if their boat or convoy was attacked or if they had any direct contact with German u-boat crews. I am also interested in veterans’ post-war life and their reflections on the War, looking back on it from today.
