The Royal British Legion Paris Branch has the distinction of being the very first Branch of the organisation, its articles dating from 14 May 1921 which actually pre-dates the official establishment of the RBL. Unfortunately many of the circumstances of this curious fact are lost in the mists of time - many papers having been lost between 1939 and 1945.
