UNVEILING OF COMMEMORATIVE ANCHOR
THE MISSION TO SEAFARERS ALEXANDRA DOCKS NEWPORT
SUNDAY 14TH JULY 2019 AT 11.30 HOURS
The Merchant Navy Association, City of Newport Branch will be hosting a Service to remember those Merchant Seafarers from Newport who 75 years ago took part in the D-Day landings of WW2
To commemorate their sacrifice an anchor and plaque will be unveiled during the service
The day will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishing of the Merchant Navy Association, City of Newport Branch
