This year, we mark the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings, famously known as D-Day. One of the most defining moments of the Second World War, we remember the heroic actions of the Allied forces that day. In tribute to this important military milestone, The London Mint Office is proud to announce the release of an exclusive coin featuring original wartime photography from the archives of Imperial War Museums.
Struck in partnership with the Merchant Navy Association, the coin pays tribute to the sacrifices made for king and country on the day that helped put Britain and the Allies on the road to victory.
