SS Trevessa THE ILL-STARRED SHIP Trevessa at Port Pine, South Australia. She was a single-screw cargo vessel, built in 1909, with a gross tonnage of 5.004, a length of 401 feet, a beam of 53 feet, and a depth of 28 feet. The vessel foundered in the Indian Ocean after a storm, on June 4, 1923, some 1,640 miles out of Fremantle, Australia. This had been her last port of call, and she left it on the morning of May 25, 1923.
