Remembrance Service
'The Merchant Navy Association (Wales) will be holding a Remembrance Service
at the Seafarers Memorial, Cardiff Bay at 1100 on Saturday 9 Nov 2019.'

⚓️ Annual Remembrance Day Service ⚓️
On Sunday the 10th of November, the Honourable Company of Master Mariners welcomes all to attend the annual remembrance day service held at the Merchant Navy Memorial, Trinity Square Gardens, Tower Hill, London.
23,885 merchant seafarers are commemorated on the Memorial’s Second World War section. Men and women aged between 15 and 74, all have no grave but the sea. Others have graves: its total of almost 40,000 meant the Merchant Navy lost a greater proportion of its personnel than any of the Armed Services.
All of the Gardens and much of the Merchant Navy Memorial are accessible by wheelchair.
The service will run between 10:30 and 11:45.

ANNUAL MERCHANT NAVY REMEMBRANCE SERVICE & PARADE
The Merchant Navy Association, City of Newport Branch
Annual act of remembrance for those Merchant Navy personnel who have been lost in conflict.
The service will take place at it’s Memorial on Mariners Green, Cardiff Road Newport on
Saturday 16th November 2019.
The parade will form up in Queens Street (NP20 2EB) at 11.15 hrs moving off at 11.30 hrs for the short March across to our monument where a service of remembrance including, and the laying of wreaths will take place.
