In Memory of THOMAS DOVEN “His sailing hath ended” “Let those who come after see to it that his name be not forgotten”. Mr. Thomas Doven formerly of 5, Travis Street, Barry Dock, married Cecilia Enticott at Cardiff in 1924. His last recorded residence was at 20, Bassett Street, Barry, Glamorgan. Thomas sadly “Crossed the Bar” in 1930 following a severe illness. His loss recorded at Bridgend, South Wales. “Say not in grief ‘he is no more’ but live in thankfulness that he was". Hebrew proverb. Thomas Doven: Recorded as Ships Fireman, Carnarvon Castle. Arrived on the 16th September 1929, Southampton. (Natal - Cape Porto - Madiera) Any further information welcomed.
