Due to the current situation with Covid 19 we have decided to cancel our Remembrance Service at the Seafarers Memorial, Cardiff Bay that was scheduled for Saturday 7 November 2020.
There was very little chance of us being able to conduct the service given the current situations imposed by Covid 19 but there was always hope. However, there is now no hope left as the Senedd facilities will not be available to us.
It would appear that Coronavirus is going to be with us for some time, and we are certain you are as disappointed as we are that we have taken this decision. We trust that you will agree that it is the right course of action.
It may be possible for some of us to attend the Memorial on the 7th, pay our respects and lay a couple of fresh wreaths. But this will depend on the lifting of the local lock downs, etc. that are currently in force.
