I would like to express our deepest condolences in respect of the passing of Bill Anderson the Chairman of the North West Merchant Navy Association.

Some bad news just been informed shipmate Trade Unionist, Fighter, and Chairman of our branch Bill Anderson sadly passed away with Covid 19 last night gutted and saddened R. I. P COMRADE.

Today: John Rix, the Editor of ‘Full Ahead’ for some 17 or 18 years, died this morning from pancreatic cancer.

May both Bill and John Rest in peace and may they find fair winds & calm seas the other side of the bar.
