Tower Hill Memorial
Today was a historic day for all the wrong reasons. For the first time in the Honourable Company of Master Mariners's history, we did not hold a Remembrance Service at the Merchant Navy's Memorial at Tower Hill as a result of COVID19. Instead, four members did the duty that so many should have been allowed to do; to honour the hundreds of thousands of Merchant mariners who paid the ultimate price whilst doing their duty of defending their country.
