Joseph Fullam Campbell
Had I known of this would have bid and kept in trust for the family.
Sad that the memory could be so easily put up by someone for auction.
Do not know of the circumstance, attempt here to at least remember the man.
Joseph Fullam Campbell Third Engineer British Merchant Navy 17th September 1940 Lost at Sea, SS; Tregenna aged 20 years, son of George Rankine Campbell and Eliza Mary Campbell nee Fullam, of Edinburgh Scotland. Another of our scions who gave their all for our Freedom, we Salute his name and recall it today with Pride in his Honour.

If it is not to late would suggest that the family rescue this, I will make a similar enquiry, would look at holding in trust.
Her Name Was Tregenna is a site created as a tribute to Captain William Thomas Care of Barry, Glamorgan, South Wales and the men of one particular ship, though it now carries additional material.

MERCHANT NAVY DAY
I see the ensigns flying, my heart fills with pride,
I see our colours carried, with seamen by my side,
I remember ships and mariners - ( and the debt we owe)
Now resting in the oceans, fathoms deep below.
