The Mayor of the Vale of Glamorgan, Cllr Jayne Norman, marked the 77th Anniversary of the D-Day landings today by laying a wreath at the Merchant Navy Memorial at the Civic Offices, Barry and observing a minute's silence. Honouring the 22,442 people who were killed on D-Day and at the Battle of Normandy.
