DANGER'S HOUR
He left his wife and family dear, To sail against the Axis power. To do what was right, and join the fight, And ship out in Danger's hour.
He faced a life uncertain, No time to hide or cower. To face the gun, on convoy run, All within the Danger's hour.
Amid the storms and howling gales, When sunshine turns to shower. Gone from sight, lost in the night, All in the Danger's hour.
There came a great explosion, And wilted, bent the flower. They are no more, on the ocean floor. Who sailed their ships in Danger's hour.
