‘Barry during the Second World War’ exhibition announced:
Local WW2 historians will be holding a ‘Barry during the Second World War’ exhibition at the Victoria Park Rooms, from 27th Feb to 27th March.
This pictorial exhibition aims to educate the people of Barry, particularly young people about the town during World War 2 and to capture stories from those who lived during these times to aid further our research. During this exhibition it is hoped to have a Jeep and WW2 US encampment on display, with local living history reenactors.
