The merchant navy association memorial page - David Brown
On the 24th April 2022 the War Memorial in Sheerness will be rededicated with over 900 local names added that were missing from the original memorial. Over thirty of the names are of Merchant Seaman lost in WW2. One of the names is of a crew member lost on board a Saint Class Tug.
The parade will start from the Beach Street car park in Sheerness at 1030. It is hoped as many ex MN or serving MN will be able to attend this event as possible.
