I have been working on an idea to get donations for a worthy charity with Merchant Navy Day flags as the backdrop for this. I have designed a small web page for this venture and I would be obliged if you could take a look and give me your views. Here is the draft for the page mnday.biz.nf/
There are also free flags to copy directly from the site for those who dont wish to Donate for whatever reason.
The idea is to provide proof of donations, names, flags ordered and a PayPal receipt of the FULL tally paid to whichever charity. The list of donatees would be added as they happen and the full Donation made on Mon. Sept. 5th. to whichever charity.
I deliberately did NOT choose The Flying Angel as some may complain (without being racist) that M.N. personnel from countries who do not recognise M.N. Day might reap the benefits from a donation before others.
Please have a look and feel free to give me your honest opinion.
Share this with others if you wish as ALL ideas will be welcome. I would also hope that other M.N. sites would become involved by putting a link on their site.
