Over 150 boats, decorated with white lights, will celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on the river at dusk on 24 September, as part of the Thames Festival Trust, Totally Thames festival.
Sailing from Chelsea to Tower Bridge, the Reflections flotilla will include The Queen’s Rowbarge Gloriana.
Some of the bridges on the route will be illuminated with special light displays.
Chris Livett, barge master to Her Majesty, said: “The Queen has had a close association with the Thames throughout her reign. This event is a way for the river community to thank her and reflect on her historic 70 years on the throne, a truly remarkable achievement.”
Funds raised by the event will support the construction of the RNLI's new station at Waterloo Bridge.
