Seems, a new prince and princess of Wales have been announced, I know all is early and more will follow and just wonder. Will the title Master of the Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleet be an automatic affair or take some time ? Only serious answers required.  God Save the King. |

We take great comfort from the dedication and the commitment she gave to this, our Maritime Nation and to all peoples of her Commonwealth. As Master of the Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleets Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II understood, more than most, the importance of the roles of seafarers and the vessels they served in. There are no words to adequately express our thoughts and feelings at the loss of a loved one. Your mother, our Queen, was dearly loved by all.
