SS Dundalk 1918 Centenary Commemoration.
104th anniversary of the sinking of the SS Dundalk
We remember all who sailed on her fatal journey before she was struck by torpedo on 14th October 1918
20 people lost their lives, one woman Margaret Creegan Stewardess and 19 men.
Many relatives still live in Dundalk and surrounding areas, daughter, sister, fathers, sons and brothers.
The TSS 'DUNDALK' Memorial, Dundalk. The old Steampacket clock is mounted and fixed at the time she was
struck and sank on the night of 14th Oct 1918 30 miles south of the Isle of Man by German Submarine U-90 with the loss of 20 souls.
