Although this young 14 year old lads obituary appeared in the local press in Hull in 1941. It was not until 75 years later he finally received official war grave status after I uncovered official documents in The National Maritime Archives of Norway to prove to the CWGC he had served and died on the ship in question. Might sound like a lost cause.....but not when you receive a phone call from some of his relatives in their 90's to say thank you, makes the six year fight for justice for him well worth it. R.I.P. Michael Goulden, not forgotten!!
