SM U-33 sinks the SS Commodore near Malta.
The German submarine U-33 continued her "one a day" kill streak by scuttling the British cargo ship Commodore, 160 miles southeast of Malta. The Commodore lost one crew member in the attack. The Commodore had been used as a troop transport for the expedition to Salonika in early November.
