A SPECIAL meeting has been called t o m o r r o w , (December 2) to consider a request o convert the former Grade II listed hydraulic pump house at Barry Waterfront into a museum.
It will be held at Barry Civic Offices at 5.30pm and two local historical groups The Vale Heritage Centre Coalition and Friends of Barry History, will give their views.
Independent councillor, Richard Bertin, who said he had called for the matter to be considered, commented: “The pump house would be a perfect place for a museum
“I hope that full consideration will be given to housing a much-needed museum at this site.
