Organised jointly by The Church and the Merchant Navy Association (Wales) Barry branch.This Annual Service will take place at the Seamen's Memorial (the Anchor) on Barry Waterfront, (turn right at the Morrisons roundabout)

What is Sea Sunday?Join us on Sea Sunday as we unite together globally to pray & celebrate the role that seafarers play in our daily lives. Sea Sunday is the day which many Christian Churches set aside to remember and pray for seafarers and their families and give thanks for their lives and work. It is officially held on the second Sunday in July. LINK

VIA: 11th Barry Sea Scout Group After popping an appeal up for help yesterday with clearing and tidying the Merchant Navy memorial. I have the pleasure of sharing what 2 of our Cubs and parents have done. They have left a few weeds, for others to clear away. We will keep our eye on the memorial for the next few weeks, so it is ready for Sea Sunday on 16th July 2023 at 2pm, everyone is welcome.
