Well that time of year again. Yearly visit to Tower Hill to commemorate our war dead on "Merchant Navy Day" designated 3rd September every year, to coincide with Britain's entry into WWII with the first casualty being the British S.S. Athenia sunk by a U-boat a few hours after war was declared.
