Steamship Shieldhall
We are delighted to share with you all the first episode of our mini-documentary series about different locations around the Solent that we can see from the deck of the Steamship Shieldhall. In today’s launch episode, we look at Shieldhall’s home in Southampton, the historic Berth 110 and its associated dry dock.
We have launched our first ‘View from the Decks’ today, and further ‘View from the Deck’ editions will launch on every Friday leading up to and including our first 2024 sailing, the Queen Anne Maiden Voyage cruise on 3 May.
In these videos, we will illustrate just what you can expect from a trip out to sea on Steamship Shieldhall. Southampton Water has a long and illustrious history, and a Shieldhall excursion, complete with an expert commentary, will help identify and bring alive its many sights and sounds.
