A tale of courage and bravery. leadership and command, so many words can be used in remembering Cecil Foster and Trevessa, his crew then and friends, family and loved ones.
There are so many names, so many former lives, a person, a life that we know of by possibly name only, I honour and respect all, we may never know much of many, no one is held above another, but when information is found on an individual, we record and report all, in memory of all.
Following last years renovation of Captain Cecil Fosters grave, it is hoped to do something more annually, currently looking at this year, adding an engraved piece of Kemnay stone, in respect of all. Kemnay was the town that Cecil was raised in and his memories included naming the family home in Barry, Kemnay for quite some time.
May the refurbished grave forever tribute Master Mariner Cecil P T Foster, yet also tribute all crew of Trevessa and all ships and men lost for all time.
Will update as and when.
