A powerful sadness for those lost... in yet another example of tragedy that's part of our going to sea experience. Let's record them all and not forget them. We remember wartime losses, but there is also a time for thought about the peace-time Merchant Navy with its risks, tragic losses, injuries, widows, orphans and families.
