ANNUAL SEAFARERERS’ SERVICE:
Barry Ladies Choir will again perform "Over the Sea and Far Away" again this year as part of the repetoire:

This year will be the 15th Annual Service and takes place after the re-dedication ceremony of the extensive refurbishment to the Merchant Navy Monument on the Civic Office forecourt, Barry, South Wales. Both events are taking place on September 29th 2012.
In holding a Seafarers’ Service the vital role played by the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force in Convoy duties, also all those who follow the calling of the sea, deep sea fishermen, the RNLI etc are acknowledged.
The presence of Branch Standards will be greatly appreciated at the service. The order of parade being – The Merchant Navy Association, The Royal Navy, The Royal Air Force, The Royal British Legion and all other Standards.
The provisional date for next year’s service is Saturday 21st September 2013.
