The Merchant Navy Monument located at the Barry Civic Offices was re-dedicated on Saturday 29th September 2012.
This ceremony was held immediately prior to the Merchant Navy Association (Wales) Barry Branch 15th Annual Seafarers’ Service at the Memorial Hall.
The service took place following extensive refurbishment to the Merchant Navy Monument. The provisional date for next year’s service is Saturday, September 21st, 2013.
