Even 70 years later, the longest campaign of the Second World War and its significance are remembered.
The annual commemoration of the Battle of the Atlantic was held in Thunder Bay on Sunday at the HMCS Griffon. Held on the first Sunday in May, the ceremony, held across the country, remembers the price paid by members of the Canadian Naval Forces, Canadian Merchant Navy and the Royal Canadian Air Force.
