Battle of the Atlantic: Veteran DEMS Gunner Harry Day:
Many veterans of the Battle of the Atlantic were at the 70th commemorations this weekend in Liverpool, one of them was Dems (Defensively Equipped Merchant Ships) Gunner Harry Day, who talked to us about his time defending merchant ships out at sea when he was just 18 years old. Harry also shared his views on the commemorations and some of his memories including convoys.
