17/8/2013 – Unfortunately, having finally overcome the issues in the UK, it seems to be a slow process to get everything agreed and the ball rolling in Russia.
Lists of recipients are being arranged and checked by the Russian Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A Presidential decree is needed prior to medals being sent to the Russian Embassy in London for distribution, at which point recipients will be notified and ceremonies will be arranged.
We are pushing for swifter action on this and will provide updates as soon as we have them.
