Re: Tower Hill.
From Grimsby
Thanks Keith for those pic’s etc, I shall be there next year and I will make it my personal mission to make sure that the people of Grimsby know about next year as well, I really think there would be a good turn out from here as many families lost loved ones on the converted trawlers in both world wars,.
I just think it needs to be publicised more, especially in the local papers, when it gets nearer the date next year I will speak to a friend at the Evening telegraph and get them to put an article in, also possibly to organise transport, I have spoken to people since I found out about the MNA they have all expressed a wish to attend if it was organised, there were so many losses from here, keep up the good work and I will help when ever I can, regards, john
Tregenna will ensure that more people know. Thanks for your support. K.
We are actually surprised that many do not know of Tower Hill, As a National Monument or of its relevance to the Merchant Navy etc. Many do not know of the part played by this forgotten service and how different life would be under occupation.
“Tregenna hopes to enlighten not preach”
The press and media to report and inform
The world to remember
“We can only best protect our future,
By understanding our past”
All other Cities and Towns, Villages etc.
Keep doing what you do.
But, please inform us.
Collectively, the message will continue.
“LEST WE FORGET”

An evening social event will also took place at the Dormanstown RBL club.
