Pay your respects to the Red Duster
AN EXHIBITION by the Merchant Navy Association (Wales) has opened at the Art Central gallery, in the former Barry Town Hall.
It includes photographic and written material and focuses on the links between the MN and Barry.
The Vale and Barry, in particular, is well known for its maritime tradition, and, proportionately, Barry lost more merchant seamen at sea in World War II than any other town in the country.
The exhibition, which runs until May 3, is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 11am to 4pm.
